Immediate Opening for a Ruby Developer

Our client located in Atlanta is looking for a Junior to Mid Level Ruby on Rails Developer. This company is growing rapidly and is a thought leader in their industry. If you want an opportunity to work in a cool atmosphere with talented developers, this is the place for you.

Specific skills and experience we look for include:

•Experience writing HTML and CSS
•Experience writing JavaScript (jQuery preferred)
•A willingness to learn rapidly and grow as a software professional
•Experience with revision control systems such as Git or SVN
•A familiarity with agile concepts and processes
•A desire to work in a Mac OS X environment (our office is over 90% Mac)
•A comfort level developing for Unix or Linux environments
Attributes we look for include:

•Knowledge of object-oriented programming utilizing MVC application frameworks
•Actual experience writing Ruby on Rails web applications
•Knowledge of and/or experience with relational database principles
•A startup mentality with a “whatever it takes” approach to accomplishing goals
•An interest in social networks, with some exposure to the technology behind them
•Pragmatic and even-tempered in the face of challenges
•Resourceful, able to suggest alternatives and share ideas
•Work well with team members and communicate effectively
